The suction tube itself is slightly curved and contains either a removable tip or a removable shaft to assist with different suction processes throughout a surgical procedure. This 9" long instrument is ideal for removing fluid or blood that may interfere with the operating area.

Brackman Suction Tube contains a thumb plate on the handle to rest the finger on and also to control the bypass hole. The tube itself is either 5 or 7 French and has offset suction tip holes. These fine suction tips are designed to be used in surgeries, such as myringoplasty, for areas that are narrow or more delicate in order to avoid excess suction.

Yankauer Suction Tube comes with a tip that can be removeved to allow access to tighter spaces. If these tips get lost, however, they can be purchased separately to be used only for the Yankauer suction tube. This device is also long in length and can range from 10 ?" to 18" depending on the operation. The handle of this device contains an end that can be connected to a suction source in order to provide the suction power needed to remove fluids or debris away from the surgical site.

Cooley Sump-Suction Tube is designed for fluid drainage in cardiothoracic surgeries. It is designed with a outer tube with perforations that extends internally to help extract fluid by a sump-drain mechanism. Additionally, this instrument is easily disassembled, the entire tube is removable from the handle, for ease in rotation for better positioning as well as cleaning. This instrument is available in two angle measures: thirty degrees as well as a 90 degree right angle.
