Bailey Aorta Clamp
Bailey Aorta Clamp
angled shanks
Bailey Aorta Clamp are designed for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This clamp is ideal for use when there is a surgical maneuver that requires exclusion of a specific portion of the vessel. The unique design of this clamp with the slightly angled shanks allows for this clamp to effectively reach and clamp off the aorta when other instruments may not be able to. Additionally, this instrument is available in three different jaw sizes: extra small, small and large making it well suited for a number of different vessel sizes but also in different levels of blood flow restriction.
Bailey Aortic Rongeur
Bailey Aortic Rongeur
3.0 mm bite, 5-1/4" (13.5 cm)
Bailey Aortic Rongeur is a highly versatile instrument for use in cardiothoracic surgery. This uniquely shaped rongeur features ring handles and a shaft that ends in a 3 mm bite jaw. It can be used for removal of small material from the aorta and aortic valve such as calcifications in stenotic patients. Additionally, it can be utilized for plaque removal from other peripheral regions where there is stenosis. This instrument is available in two styles: straight and angled down.
Bailey Gigli Saw Guide
13" (33.0 cm)?Gigli Saw Guide is an instrument specifically designed for use alongside a Gigli saw which is preferred in amputation procedures. The Gigli saw is flexible and thus needs a guide to keep it aligned to the area where the incision and cutting is taking place. This instrument is ideally used in amputation procedures in which a smooth and consistent cutting motion is required. Additionally this guide is 13" long.
Bailey Lacrimal Cannula
reinforced shaft, 23-gauge, 1/2" (1.5 cm)?Bailey Cannula is an extremely useful tool in treating tear duct obstructions. The cannula may be used to investigate blockage of lacrimal gland damage or more frequently, obstruction of the nasolacrimal duct. The cannula features a reinforced shaft to prevent bending and kinking during the procedure, while the shorter working length affords the surgeon more control.
Bailey Rib Approximator
Bailey Rib Approximator
Bailey Rib Approximator is ideally used in cardiothoracic procedures. This approximator is uniquely designed with two opposing claw heads to allow the ribs to be brought back to closure. A large dial is used for moving the claws and is held in place by a ratcheting system ensuring delicate precision but maintaining firm hold and stability through the procedure. This instrument is available in two sizes: pediatric and adult.
Bailey-Gibbon Rib Approximator
Bailey-Gibbon Rib Approximator
w/ extended three-pronged blades, 6-3/4" (17.0 cm)
Baily-Gibbon Rib Approximator is an instrument used in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This rib approximator comes equipped with extended three-pronged blades which gives it better gripping ability during rib approximation. A ratcheting mechanism with a large dial are used to set the claws at variable spreads and then bring them closer together.
Bainbridge Artery & Intestinal Forceps
Bainbridge Artery & Intestinal Forceps
standard pattern.
Bainbridge Artery and Intestinal Forceps come in a standard pattern and may be used in medical procedures such as when a bowel needs to be clamped. These forceps have long, slightly tapered jaws with longitudinal serrations that are presented in a curved or straight pattern in different overall lengths.
Baird Chalazion Forceps
slightly curved jaws with platform, 4-1/4" (11.0 cm)Baird Chalazion Forceps are a commonly used tool in diseases of the eyelid. The forceps are meant to expose a chalazion or other cysts of the lid. The forceps feature an open blade meant to encircle the cyst and tightened so the lid is everted. The model also features a locking thumb screw designed to free the surgeon's hands if desired.
