Yasargil Micro Bipolar Bayonet Forceps are designed to minimize heat and current while coagulating. For use during bipolar electrosurgical procedures, these forceps are designed with 0.3 mm, 0.5 mm, 0.7 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm and 2.0 mm tips and a flat, bayonet handle to retain full visualization of the surgical field. This instrument is available as insulated and insulated with irrigation as well as in multiple lengths for each tip size. Bipolar forceps are designed to control temperatures, minimize heat and current spread and reduce tissue sticking or charring while coagulating during bipolar electrosurgical procedures. Micro Kerrison Detachable Rongeur is a specialized instrument ideally suited for use in laminectomy procedures. It features small handles and regular footplate and is 40 degrees up which allows it to comfortably maneuver in the narrow spaces in and around the vertebral column. Laminectomies are performed for a number of reasons. Some include increased access to a particular region of the spinal cord by removing the vertebral arch of a series of vertebrae or to reduce pressure on a particular portion of the vertebral column.
