Hohmann Knee Retractor
Hohmann Knee Retractor is designed for use in retraction of soft tissue structures near the knee and thus can be useful in a variety of knee surgeries. This lightweight retractor features a slim, flat designed with a fenestrated handle. Additionally the blade is curved making the contour of this piece well suited for use in and around the knee and joint capsule. It is available in tow sizes 13' at 90 degrees and 16" at 120 degrees making it suitable for many different surgical approaches.
Hohmann Retractor
15.0 mm wide, 6" (15.0 cm)Hohmann Retractor is crafted for use in retraction of tissue during surgery to allow more direct access to the surgical field. This retractor features a slim, flat handle that flares near the end into a leaf shaped tip that also has a rounded tip. The flat profile of this retractor allows it to follow the contour of the incision where it is being used and effectively provide retraction while staying out of the surgical field.
Hohmann Retractor – 1 Finger Ring
w/ finger ring, 16.0 mm wide, 4-3/4" (12.0 cm)Hohmann Retractor is designed for use in general purpose retraction in neurosurgery. It features a finger ring for ease in handling as well as a flat profile making it well suited for retraction and lying flat against the body to keep the surgical field accessible. Additionally it widens into the leaf shaped tip allowing for an even distribution of pressure over a greater surface area thus protecting the body tissue while still keeping clear access to the site of surgery.
Hohmann Retractor – 2 Finger Rings
w/ 2 finger ringsohmann Retractor is general purpose instrument suited for use in many different surgical scenarios and is crafted to keep open incisions or to further retract tissue within the surgical field. This retractor features a large, smooth handle from which extends a narrow, cylindrical neck portion that ends in a hook. The handle of this retractor has two finger rings that make it easier to manipulate and grasp in delicate surgical scenarios. Additionally it is available in four different lengths: 8.5", 9.25", 10" and 11" and a variety of different widths making it easy to find the perfect match for any surgical need.
Hohmann-Mini Retractor
6-1/2" (16.5 cm)Hohmann-Mini Retractor is ideally suited for retraction in neurosurgical procedures. The mini size allows it to fit into some more difficult to reach areas that require retraction of delicate tissue. The unique aspect of this retractor is its slim design. Additionally this retractor is available in two widths: 6.0 mm or 8.0 mm making it easy to satisfy any particular surgical need as well as any surgeon preference.
Hoke Osteotome
5-1/2" (14.0 cm)?Hoke Osteotome is crafted for preparation and cutting of bone during neurosurgery. This instrument features a sturdy handle for ease in handling which then narrows at the neck and widens again into a blade. One potential use of this osteotome is to saw through the skull to increase access during surgery such as craniotomy. Additionally this instrument can be used to reshape bony areas. This osteotome is available in either a curved or straight profile in size sizes ranging from 3.0 mm to 16.0 mm making this a highly versatile instrument suitable for a number of surgical procedures.
Holscher Nerve Root Retractor
9-1/2" (24.0 cm)?Holscher Nerve Root Retractor is ideally suited for use in retraction of nerve roots during spinal surgeries. The elevation and retraction of nerve roots keeps them safe from unintentional injury if the surrounding areas are being operated upon. This retractor features a loop shaped handle and a small hook style tip. Additionally this is available with either a 6.5 mm blade or a 13.0 mm blade making it versatile enough for any surgical scenario or any particular patient need.
Horizontal Retractor
4x2 sharp prongs, 15.0 mm deep x 25.0 mm height, 6-1/2" (16.5 cm) maximum opening, 12-1/4" (31.0 cm)Horizontal Retractor is a general purpose instrument that can be suitable for a wide variety of surgical procedures such as laminectomies. The 4x2 sharp prongs allow it to effectively grasp and keep a hole on the tissue that it is retracting. Additionally the ring handle makes it suitable for manual operation and the ratcheting mechanism allows it to be locked at specific widths.
Hudson Burr
Hudson Burr - 3/8"
3/8" (10.0 mm)
Surgical's Hudson Burr is ideally suited for use in neurosurgical procedures specifically of the brain. A drill can be used to start a pilot hole which can then be further enlarged via use of a burr. This instrument can e used in procedures such as craniotomies which require access through the bony skull down to the softer brain tissue. This instrument features a 10.0 mm diameter.
