This instrument is made from titanium which is a rare and lustrous metallic element proven to be technically superior in a wide variety of medical applications. The lightweight titanium alloy body offers strength and stability while the dusting of fine tungsten carbide dust further reinforces the strength of this instrument while maintaining its ability to handle delicate tissue without causing damage or trauma. These forceps are available in 7.75" and 8.25" , the latter available in either lightweight round handle or with a counter balanced handle.

Titanium Microvascular Needle Holder is crafted for use in a variety of cardiothoracic surgical procedures in which precise needle handle is necessary such as in microvascular interventions. This needle holder features ring handles for manual handling as well as a ratcheting mechanism for creating and sustaining a particular level of tension. Additionally, this instrument is formed from titanium making it stronger and lighter than it's stainless steel counterparts as well as having jaws with metallurgically bonded tungsten carbide particles further reinforcing their strength.
